Connected from the Left Coast

Hello to all you Connected folks! A special welcome to Shannon Lavett. Thanks for your post, Shannon. I remain impressed with your energy and professionalism. I'll be in touch with the members to determine the final outcome of the I am in Valencia, CA (near LA) with my best friend Becky and her hubby, Mike. We biked from Santa Monica Pier through Venice Beach all the way to Marina del Ray. Oh, it was so picturesque! I am also visiting my brother, Brian and his wife, Tommie, and my favorite nephew, Trevor, who joined us yesterday. We had an all day BBQ and pool party. Wonderful time with my wonderful friends and family! Today we are going to Vasquez Rocks, where the Flintstones movie was made. Will try to get some good shots. I am treating Becky and Mike to a nice brunch before they they take me to the airport for my flight to the beautiful little city by the bay, San Francisco! My workshop will be held at the historic Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill, but I will be slumming at an El Cheapo Hotel Mark Twain 2 blocks away, doing my imitation of Rachel Ray's $40 a day!!!! Wish me luck!
